How a full service facade access solution provider can offer peace of mind throughout production

Manntech takes great pride in their production facilities as part of a strong commitment to providing a truly full service offering which addresses clients’ specific access needs.

As a full service, end-to-end facade access solution provider, Manntech’s commitment to delivering high-quality, precision-engineered access equipment includes every step of the process from initial consultation and design through to installation and after-sales services.

An important part of this comprehensive process is manufacturing at Manntech’s own European production facilities. Based across two factory sites, the production team is made up of 90 skilled and accomplished members of staff who work together to produce between 150 and 180 Building Maintenance Units annually.

The larger of the two Manntech production facilities is located in Mammendorf, near Munich, in Germany. This is home to valued team members with a wide range of expertise and experience who are responsible for areas including sales, engineering, process planning, purchasing, production and logistics. This state of the art facility is a key ingredient which contributes to Manntech’s status as a leading facade access solution provider and numerous vital tasks take place every day at the Mammendorf site. This includes developing designs for our bespoke access systems, precision mechanical and electrical engineering, assembly and rigorous factory acceptance testing (FAT) programs, before disassembly and loading can take place in preparation for safe and secure shipping of completed access systems. The facility benefits from two large assembly halls and an additional outdoor assembly area which is used to complete a full testing program for even the biggest and most complex building access systems in the world.

Manntech’s team take the quality of every part very seriously and only source components from the most trusted suppliers. To ensure the highest-quality of every Manntech system, the team also produce the most important sections of the machine hoists themselves at the Mammendorf facility, as well as taking on responsibility for the production of many of Manntech’s higher-complexity cradles destined for some of the most technically challenging, innovative facade access solutions across the globe.

Expert staff at the smaller Manntech production facility in the Netherlands undertake a range of specialised tasks including electrical engineering, installation of electrical systems and precision mechanical assembly. In addition to applying their expertise to the production of new Building Maintenance Units, staff at the Netherlands facility also specialise in providing maintenance and overhauls for existing machines in the well-equipped warehouse. Again, every BMU that comes off the production line is subject to rigorous testing before it can be released for shipping.

As a leading facade access solution provider, Manntech takes great pride in their production facilities as part of a strong commitment to providing a truly full service offering which addresses clients’ specific access needs. This offers you the peace of mind that comes from working with a single trusted and world-renowned provider throughout the whole process and knowing that every part of your access system has been produced to the most exacting standards of safety and engineering excellence.
